When God Speaks

"Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak" (2 Corinthians 4:13). At Agape House,we are learning to speak the language of faith from native speakers, men and women of faith, recorded in the Book of Hebrews. In chapter 11, there are "all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on?" from their life stories. We learn how to strike a power pose in faith. We witness how they believed therefore they spoke. We shout as Joshua and Israelites shouted to bring down walls of a stronghold city. We laugh as Sarah endured her suffering yet earned the last laugh by faith. We respond to God as Abraham said "here I am" in obedience. We whisper to our Father in heaven as Abraham and Isaac exchanged the sweetest conversation between a father and son. We speak in confidence as Rehab requested firmly for a sign for salvation for her whole family.
